This is my favorite kabob place in all of the DC Metro area! They are super friendly and the food is always good. You can’t go wrong with the super dish and the kids love the gyro.

Brilliant food for the family greets you in this bustling strip mall outlet. Sometimes you stumble across a gem and this is one of those. We had two chicken dishes and a Geyro (Gyro) patter. It almost killed our family of 4 eating it but we couldn’t stop it was so good.

The rice was amazing and the spicy green sauce that comes on the side is delicious. Ordering happens at the desk and you should grab a drink before you pay. We ended up having to take two trips to the till.

The styrofoam plates and plastic forks don’t do the food here justice. The staff are very sweet. And you get this mammoth bread with dinner so beware. It’s great too.

You roll the dice on what is truly gluten free but the grilled kababs are worth the risk. In fact, the whole place is a surprising pearl that we will patron again and again when in the 29/66 corridor.

Very tasty. I generally always order the chicken kabob, thigh. The breast is a bit too dry for my liking.

Portions are large. Restaurant is clean. Service is prompt. Price is right. What’s not to like.

I tried this place on a whim after visiting the Post Office, and it was FANTASTIC! I had the Lamb Kabob sandwich, which was so good, I ordered a falafel sandwich to take to work for lunch the next day!

Their prices are also fantastic, not sure why they have a $$ rating. My two sandwiches totaled a little under $13, and they’re quite large for the price.

The falafel sandwich is definitely the way to go. Service was fast and friendly, I’ll be returning at every opportunity.

Ben reading the reviews from here they were right on target. Had the chicken kabob sandwich not only was it awesome it was huge. Very well seasoned bread was soft and warm. All things were fresh meat vegetables and everything. We will be back again.

I’d never had Afghan food before going to Afghan Famous Kabob and now I’m hooked after our amazing lunch here. My fiancé had the gyro platter and was in love with its spice and texture. I had the chicken thighs platter and the chicken was incredibly moist and flavorful. We just had lunch and are already planning to come back again tomorrow it was that good. Come and eat here–you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent kabobs.
I got the lamb kabob sandwich with chickpeas and those little fried beef pastries as an appetizer. Everything was bursting with flavor and authenticity. The service was fair. Not outstanding but it was speedy.
Everything was prepared to order. I love being able to call in my order and pick it up in five minutes. This place is great if you’re looking for authentic cuisine at a decent price! Delicious every time.
